Updated Honduran Entry Requirements: Digital Customs Form

Starting in June, Honduras has implemented a new requirement for all travelers: a digital customs form that can start to be completed within five days of your arrival and departure dates from the country. This new measure is designed to both reduce waste and streamline the customs process. Way to go, Honduras! Here’s the nitty gritty:

  • Online Portal: The customs form can be accessed and filled out on the official Honduran government website. Make sure you have all your travel details, passport information, and accommodation address handy when completing the form.
  • Pre-Arrival: You can register your customs form starting 5 days before your scheduled flight to Honduras. This form is essential for entry into the country, and helps the Honduran authorities ensure a smooth and secure process for all travelers. Only one form is required per family.
  • Pre-Departure: Similarly, you can start to complete the customs form within five days of your departure date from Honduras. This step ensures that your exit from the country is as seamless as your arrival. Again, only one form is required per family.
  • Confirmation: After submitting the form, you will receive a QR code to your phone. It is crucial to screenshot this image or otherwise have it accessible on your mobile device, as you will need to present it to customs officials upon arrival and departure.
