Available exclusively in the Garden Villa and Standard Sea View Suite, booked directly with the hotel.

Frequently Asked Questions

All Island Escape packages are valid from May 1 through December 15, 2026. Packages are not available outside this window and cannot be booked for peak season dates. Rates are valid for stays that begin and end within this period.

Yes. All couple package rates are based on double occupancy. Solo traveler rates are available at adjusted single-occupancy pricing for the 3-Night Sandy Bay Escape ($645), 5-Night West Side Wanderer ($1,095), and 7-Night Island Explorer ($1,495). The Pigeon Cay Expedition is reserved for couples and private group bookings only and does not have a solo rate.

Yes. Island Escape packages must be booked directly with Puerta Azul and cannot be purchased through third-party booking platforms. Packages may not be combined with any other promotions or discounts.

Yes. Roundtrip airport transfer is included in all Island Escape packages — both couple and solo rates. Roatan’s Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport (RTB) is approximately 15 minutes from the property. No separate arrangement is needed; coordinate your flight details with the hotel before arrival.

Yes. Daily island breakfast for two is included in all couple packages. Solo package rates include daily breakfast for one. Breakfast is served each morning on the elevated deck overlooking the gardens and sea, and typically runs between 7:30–9:30 AM. If you have an early excursion departure, notify the team in advance.

Curated dinners from the Island Kitchen are included depending on your package: the 3-Night Sandy Bay Escape includes two dinners; the 5-Night West Side Wanderer and Pigeon Cay Expedition each include three dinners; and the 7-Night Roatan Week includes five curated lunches or dinners.

Included meals may be selected from the regular Island Kitchen menu. Two items are excluded from package dining: the Seafood Platter and Surf & Turf. Alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks are not included in any package.

Excursion inclusions vary by package and are the same whether booked at solo or double occupancy rates:

  • 3-Night Sandy Bay Escape: Private 2-hour snorkel charter in Sandy Bay
  • 5-Night West Side Wanderer: 2-hour West Bay snorkel charter + 2.5-hour sunset cruise
  • 5-Night Pigeon Cay Expedition: Private 7-hour charter to Pigeon Cay + 2.5-hour sunset cruise (couples and private groups only — no solo rate)
  • 7-Night Island Explorer / Roatan Week: 4-hour North Shore snorkel excursion + 2.5-hour sunset cruise

A welcome cocktail is included in all packages. Guests also have complimentary use of snorkel gear, kayaks, and paddleboards from the private pier throughout their stay, regardless of package.

Yes. All Honduran taxes and fees are included in the listed package rates. There are no additional government taxes or tourism levies added at checkout. The rates shown are the final all-in prices.

Weather & Excursions
All boat excursions are weather and sea-condition dependent. If conditions are unsafe, Puerta Azul reserves the right to substitute a land-based experience of comparable value. No refunds will be issued due to weather-related changes.

Dining Inclusions
Included meals may be selected from our regular Island Kitchen menu. The Seafood Platter and Surf & Turf are excluded. Alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks are not included.

Cancellations & Terms
Cancellations are permitted up to 30 days prior to check-in. Within 30 days, payments are non-refundable. Packages must be booked directly and may not be combined with other promotions. Unused inclusions hold no cash value.
